Standard DIN 662

Mushroom head rivets with nominal diamters from 1,6 to 6 mm

This standard (DIN 662) applies to mushroom head rivets with nominal diameters from 1,6 mm to 6 mm. The setting of solid rivets is achieved by passing the rivet through the material to be fixed and then either deforming the end of the shank or fitting a non return washer. Deformation can be achieved by hammering or using a press or spin riveting.
