Standard ASME B18.8.2
Os pinos de mola helicoidais devem ter lados cilíndricos retos com ambas as extremidades chanfradas e construção helicoidal, paredes múltiplas e são fabricados nas séries Standard, Heavy e Light. Durante a instalação, os diâmetros dos pinos contraem-se e a reação da mola contra as laterais do furo tende a reter o pino.
