Na Europa, existem duas soluções para atingir a ductilidade necessária nos conjuntos de parafusos/porcas/anilhas: os sistemas HR e HV. Ambos os sistemas estão comprovados, no entanto é importante evitar a mistura dos componentes de ambos os sistemas. Por este motivo, os sistemas são normalizados numa única peça e a marcação dos componentes do mesmo sistema é uniforme (Tabela 1). Os conjuntos aparafusados pré-carregados são muito sensíveis às diferenças de fabrico e lubrificação; é importante que o conjunto seja fornecido por um único fabricante, que é sempre responsável pela função do conjunto e pelo revestimento. É necessária a marcação CE nas embalagens/caixas e/ou nos documentos comerciais que as acompanham. Além da adequação dos componentes individuais, a norma também prevê um procedimento para obter a pré-carga correta para a funcionalidade do conjunto.
