The company origins date back to 1935, when the company used to manufacture and distribute saw blades and industrial knifes. In 1963 the company obtained the sole rights to sell in Italy the fastener products of two German companies: Kerb-Konus-Gesellschaft (Kerpin® brand), manufacturer of grooved pins, grooved nails, expansion rivets, and Kerb-Konus- Vertriebes, manufacturer of self tapping bushings and and related assembly equipment.

In 1998 has acquired the representation for Italy of the UK company WTI Fasteners, manufacturer of helical inserts and related assembly equipment.

The quality of the products and services, the long experience in the sector, the professional skills and the technical knowledge of Salca staff, have enabled the company, thanks to the contribution of agents and the cooperation with the best distributors of the area, to occupy a primary position in the Italian market of fasteners, allowing the company to export its products.
