As a new year begins, reflection and assessment come naturally. In this spirit, Mauro and Fabio Corbetta, brothers and owners of Corbetta Ermanno Srl, share their perspective on the past, present and future of their family run business based in Brianza, near Milan, specialising in special fasteners.
Founded in 1969 by their father, Corbetta Ermanno Srl has become a historic name in the production of specialty fasteners. While the early years offered clearer growth paths for committed entrepreneurs, today’s global market is far more complex and unpredictable. In recent years, the company has adapted by moving away from traditional forecasting models towards a more flexible, urgency driven production approach, reflecting customers’ reduced willingness to hold stock.
Strong, long standing customer relationships remain a key strength. Serving a wide range of industrial sectors in Italy and abroad has helped maintain stability, with Italy notably driving growth during 2025. From a technical perspective, the past year saw increased demand for new products, supported by the successful integration of two new two shot machines installed in September.
Looking ahead to 2026, challenges remain, but confidence is high. Continued adaptability, investment in new communication channels and participation in new trade events, such as Mecspe Bari, are central to the company’s strategy. In an increasingly competitive market, proactive engagement is essential for sustained growth.
