Coatings, treatment, lubricants and sealants
	The main coatings and surface treatments for the fastener industry are: nickel plating, silver plating, chrome plating, chrome alloy in a barrel, copper and brass plating, Zinc plating: white, iridescent, black, special black, bright and opaque tin plating, top coat, dehydrogenation, hard anodic oxidation, satinized and natural anodic oxidation, electrocolouring anodic oxidation bright, satinized, natural, Transparent Cathaphoretic varnish glossy and Semiglossy, burnishing, pickling, heat deburring, tinning, granulation, sandblasting, passivation, phosphate coating, electrolytic polishing, zinc flake, galvanizing.
	The main heat treatments for the fasteners are: carbonitriding, case-hardening, annealing, tempering, stabilisation, quenching, structural hardening, nitriding, oxy-nitrocarburizing.
	The pre-applied coatings consist in applying on cylindrical threads a special product which is activated when the parts are assembled or press-fitted. The products used are of different types:– Micro-encapsulated locking products, Sealing products, Polyamide Patch, Anti-seizing products. Pre-coating products are applied in a liquid form via different processes: dipping, pouring or brushing.
